THE SOCIETY

AT HOUSE NOVA

FREEDOM WITHIN A STANDARD

The House
Standard

House Nova does not deny desire, fantasy, or the darker corners of adult curiosity. It protects the freedom to explore them by setting an unmistakable standard of consent, discretion, safety, and respect.

THE STANDARD OF THE HOUSE

What every key carries

These expectations follow the member through every profile, character, Room, Salon, Chronicle, invitation, gathering, and private exchange.

Conduct & Courtesy

Treat members, guests, staff, Residents, characters, hosts, and House spaces with respect. Harassment, coercion, threats, discrimination, retaliation, humiliation without consent, and deliberate disruption have no place here. Accept every no, pause, declined invitation, and quiet departure gracefully.

Consent & Boundaries

Consent is specific, voluntary, informed, and reversible. A role, title, relationship, fantasy, invitation, outfit, prior encounter, or threshold entry never replaces present consent. Ask before flirting, touching, beginning explicit conversation, sharing media, or drawing someone into a scene.

Dress Code

Each gathering may name its own standard of dress, theme, or presentation. Honor the host's stated threshold and arrive with care. Attire and theme language never imply availability, role, or consent; guests ask, listen, and accept every answer gracefully.

Care of the House & Estate

Leave physical and digital House spaces better for having entered them. Respect property, hosts, staff, shared rooms, event instructions, and the privacy of those present. Off-site gatherings remain independent occasions governed by their own hosts, venues, and safety conditions.

Privacy & Discretion

Do not expose another person's identity, correspondence, private media, relationships, location, attendance, or activity beyond the permissions they chose. Do not screenshot, record, forward, publish, or retell private House material without specific permission for that act and audience.

Roleplay & Community Conduct

Keep in-character and out-of-character boundaries clear. Respect scene limits, content thresholds, room rules, and every participant's right to stop or step away. A character's fictional interests, title, history, or behavior never grants permission to the person playing that character.

No Politics

House Nova is a refuge from partisan campaigning, political debate, provocation, and recruitment. Political content does not belong in profiles, Rooms, Salons, Chronicles, events, correspondence, or character play. Members may hold any lawful personal belief; they may not turn the House into its arena.

MEDIA, VAULTS & TAGGING

Consent to create is not consent to publish.

  1. 01Consent to create a photograph, video, recording, or story is not consent to publish it.
  2. 02Every person depicted must permit publication to the intended House audience before the material appears.
  3. 03A member tag requires approval for that specific item and audience; nothing publishes through the tagging path until every depicted member approves.
  4. 04Removing a tag, revoking Vault access, or requesting removal must not expose the member or punish them for changing a boundary.
  5. 05Non-member participants require the contributor's attestation of appropriate recorded or written permission, subject to any stricter legal requirement.

THE ABSOLUTE BOUNDARY

Adults only. No ambiguity.

Adult fantasy never excuses harm to a child, the sexualization of an actual minor, or material that depicts or facilitates abuse.

BOUNDARY 1

House Nova is exclusively for adults 21 and older. Every member, invited guest, attendee, and real participant in House sexual, nude, fetish, or intimate content must be 21 or older.

BOUNDARY 2

No actual person under 18 may hold an account, attend a House occasion, participate, or appear in member-uploaded sexual, nude, fetish, or intimate media.

BOUNDARY 3

No participant or character may be expressly represented as under 18. House-curated selectable vocabulary excludes teen, schoolchild, barely legal, age-regression, and other minor-coded labels.

BOUNDARY 4

Child sexual abuse material, grooming, enticement, sextortion, trafficking, solicitation, coded trading, links, requests, offers, or attempts to obtain or exchange prohibited material are forbidden.

CARE WITHOUT SPECTACLE

When something is wrong

Create distance

Block, mute, leave, decline, end the scene, or revoke access whenever needed. A member does not owe continued participation while seeking help.

Report quietly

Use the nearest House reporting control when available. A credible child-safety concern should be reported promptly without public confrontation or warning the subject.

Do not redistribute

Do not download, screenshot, copy, forward, or redistribute suspected prohibited material. Do not independently investigate or attempt to collect more evidence.

Immediate danger

House moderation is not an emergency service. Call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service when someone may be in immediate danger.

The protected House reporting desk and surface-level report controls remain a founding-launch requirement. They must be operational and tested before sensitive member publishing opens.

A LIVING COMMITMENT

The Standard is reaffirmed.

Members will be asked to affirm the current House Standard when accepting a key and again at renewal, anniversary, or when a material change requires renewed acknowledgment.

House Nova may pause access, remove content, restrict participation, or suspend a membership while a serious safety or conduct concern is reviewed. Formal enforcement, appeal, retention, and legal procedures belong in the production policy package.

Come as you are. Treat others as you wish to be treated. Leave the House better for having entered it.

This public Standard states the House's governing conduct principles. It does not replace the production Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, content policy, incident procedures, or other attorney-reviewed legal documents required before launch.
